Should have invoked the defense production act to mandate manufacturing of PPE, and testing centers. I have a friend that's waiting for a test results today and they were told it could be 5-11 days for results. Also he should have enacted federal protocol, and not passed the buck to the governors. Also....not talk about not wearing masks, injecting bleach, or foolishly optimistically saying this would go away.
Listen to science instead of politicizing this pandemic.
I'm sure we can come up with other things he could've done.
Now let's see a true rebuttal.....doubt we will.

Most of what Trump took the credit for was what Obama had initiated despite fierce opposition from the Republican majority. They even opposed ideas they had previously proposed themselves with one thought in mind, to hull with the country we can't let the n..... look good!

And specifically how should he have handled it then?

It's his handling of the pandemic that's the problem.
Enjoy your **** sandwich.

America built our great economy, President Donald J. Trump gave us the opportunity.

Trump isn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination but at least he knows how to build a great economy and create jobs. That's all I really care about. Getting blamed for a worldwide pandemic just shows me how desperate the left is.

Door, careful what you wish for? When Trump appealed to the basest instincts of what is now referred to as his base, he said he was "going to drain the swamp." Well what he put in that swamp after it filled up again was far worse than anything that was in there in the first place. The present administration is the most corrupt in the history of the USA, worse even than Grant's. Yes be careful what you wish for! When you're up to your arse in alligators it's easy to forget that your original intention was to drain the swamp.

Yes it was approved but it wasn't designed to go on forever. It's not sustainable. Cooper will keep us in phase 2 until the election and then IF Biden and his band of radicals somehow win it will magically go away. Just a pathetic attempt to get rid of Trump. Careful what you guys wish for. That's all I'm saying. Shutting down the best economy in history for over 6 months will have consequences. We will never recover if we keep going down this slippery slope and our future generations will be paying for it for DECADES. But yeah, thanks Governor Cooper for keeping us safe. Smirk a little bit more while you serve us that s#**** sammich.

Yes and the 600$ extra benefit was done by the federal government, approved by McConnells senate and given two thumbs up by Trump.

I realize the $600 supposedly ended but don't worry it will be back in no time with back pay. Now go buy another X box and quit whining. Meanwhile, I'm going to work to make ends meet. I haven't posted on here in YEARS but with all the liberals on this forum these days I thought I'd represent the conservatives for a change. #Trump2020

People should be able to earn what they were making. No more. Businesses should receive assistance. We need to keep folk safe.

My problem isn't the UI benefit it's the 600 extra that I don't agree with. Now they want it until the end of the year? Insane to think our Country can afford that while businesses are closing left and right. Where is the incentive to go back to work?

NC needs people back working, not sitting on their arses playing video games and getting paid $600+ a week with no desire to work for it.
You are a dangerous kind of if you think Cooper is responsible for the $600 UI bonus, that was put in place by Congress, the most anyone in NC can draw on UI is $324/wk for 12 weeks without the additional $600 from Congress and if you think someone can live on $324 per week then you are !

Cooper is a sorry POS. Everyone waiting for a handout love him. He is a pawn. Nobody wants to give up such lucrative unemployment benefits because they are making more than they did working at least most of them . This pandemic is a media driven sh#$ show. America needs to get back to work and quit looking for a free life. Pathetic! Go crawl up Pelosi butt a little further loser. NC needs people back working, not sitting on their arses playing video games and getting paid $600+ a week with no desire to work for it. This doesn't apply to everyone but I have seen for myself losers living at home for free in their frickin 30's living larger than ever all singing praise for their communist leader Cooper. Ugh!
