My guess is that there's something breaking along the way between your home internet and our server. There are 2 likely possibilities:
1. Something's up with your internet provider; or
2. You could be getting blocked in our firewall. This would be particularly likely if you're using something to mask your IP, as these apps often use non-US IP addresses that we block by default.
First step would be to disable any extensions or apps that could be masking your IP, then log in to the Wifi and try again. Many so-called "security" apps are really just spyware, so I don't really recommend using any of them, anyway.
If that doesn't work, the next step would be to log in to the Wifi, and then go to
https://www.whatismyip.com to find your IP address. It will say something like this at the very top:
My Public IPv4 is 123.45.67.89
Send me a message with those numbers, and I'll check to make sure it's not being blocked anywhere.
