The Biden administration is rushing to impose new sanctions on Iran, the White House announced on Wednesday, after letting previous weapons sanctions expire last year.
White House National Security Council (NSC) Advisor Jake Sullivan announced Tuesday evening that the Biden administration will press new sanctions on Iran's missile and drone program to deter Tehran from acting hostile against Israel and U.S. allies. The Biden administration allowed United Nations (UN) sanctions against Iran's drone and missile to expire in October, despite outcry from critics and lawmakers that it would only benefit Tehran.
The Pedo administration just can't get anything right!

Kirby Goes On Defense When Peter Doocy Asks About Biden Unfreezing Iranian Funds
White House national security spokesperson John Kirby went on defense Monday during a press briefing when Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked about the previous unfreezing of Iranian funds. Iran launched hundreds of ballistic missiles and suicide drones Saturday at Israel in response to Israel retaliating April 1 on an Iranian diplomatic compound in Syria. Following the strike, Doocy asked Kirby if the administration regretted the unfreezing of $6 billion in assets to Iran in exchange for five American prisoners. "Really? No, I don't think so," Kirby quipped, before Doocy specified the transaction. "You're going to say it's for humanitarian purposes, but doesn't that un -" Doocy began before Kirby cut him off. "- but you don't believe me?" Kirby responded. "- well, doesn't that free up money for them to spend on other stuff? Iran Asks US To 'Step Aside' As Plans For Retaliation Mount, Iranian Official Says
Iran asked the United States to not interfere in its plans for retaliation against Israel, an Iranian official alleged Friday. Mohammad Jamshidi, Iran's deputy chief of staff for political affairs, claimed in a tweet that this exchange occurred. "In a written message, the Islamic Republic of Iran warned America not to fall into Netanyahu's trap: step aside so you don't get hit. In response, America asked Iran not to hit American targets," Jamshidi tweeted. The U.S. warned, as opposed to "asked," Iran not to use this as a pretext to attack U.S. facilities and personnel, a State Dept. spokesperson told the Daily Caller. The spokesperson confirmed that the U.S. did receive a message from Iran but did not specify the message's contents. Israel launched a strike Monday near an Iranian embassy near Syria that killed several Iranian military advisors, Reuters reported. Biden did inform Iran that the US had "no involvement in the [Israeli] strike and ... did not know about it ahead of time," according to Axios. Biden Admin Scrambles To Tell Tehran It Had 'No Involvement' On Israeli Strike Against Iranian Generals
Israel launched targeted airstrikes on a compound near the Iranian embassy in Damascus, Syria on Monday, killing two Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corp (IRGC) generals and five officers. The Biden administration went "directly" to Iran and told them it had "no involvement in the [Israeli] strike and ... did not know about it ahead of time," according to a White House National Security Council (NSC) spokesperson and a U.S. official who spoke to Axios.

"Any ceasefire would give Hamas the ability to rest, to refit, and to get ready to continue launching terrorist attacks against Israel," State Department spokesman Matthew Miller told reporters during a press briefing on Oct. 23.
However, following pressure from activist groups, protestors and his own voting base, Biden began to change course. The Biden administration allowed the UNSC to pass the ceasefire resolution on Monday even after previously vetoing three similar resolutions.
"I had predicted shortly after the war that, despite President Biden's overwhelming support for Israel at the time, he would cave to his extreme, pro-Hamas, anti-Israel base once Israel began to fight back after the October 7 atrocities," Mark Dubowitz, CEO of Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD), a Washington, D.C.-based defense think tank, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. "The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are fighting in one of the most dangerous and complicated urban environments in the history of warfare, against an enemy whose entire strategy rests on maximizing the number of dead Palestinian and Israeli civilians."
"Hamas has run one of the most successful disinformation campaigns by lying about the number of casualties and how many are terrorists versus civilians. President Biden has fallen for this, even quoting Hamas [Gaza casualty figure] numbers in his State of the Union," Dubowitz told the DCNF. "In doing so, he has fallen into the political trap set by Hamas, their terror masters in Iran and their supporters in Michigan and other key states."
Gabriel Noronha, executive director of Polaris National Security and former State Department official, told the DCNF that Biden could have stayed the course in its support for Israel's war against Hamas, but the recent "political" decision by the administration only bolsters the terrorist group's chances of survival because the U.S. is indicating it wants the conflict to stop.
"Biden is falling for what his own administration correctly identified as Hamas' war strategy. And they're playing completely into it," Noronha told the DCNF.
