The Unattainable American Dream

The individual dream for a freer, better, and more fulfiled life was present from the start. It evolved from the hearts and souls of millions of people who built this country. Its what you feel the American dream is. I feel like I achieved it, I have a home, money, free to jump in my car and travel anywhere I please. To me the American dream was here at birth.

The average American has never achieved the American dream. Only about 1 or 2 % of Americans do.

DumbBell is the ultimate pessimist, for years now he's been telling us that EV's will fail. He trots out all the instances where failures have occurred to justify his claims and feels that he's made his point. Somehow, he seems to have missed all the recalls of ICE vehicles that have happened over the last three decades.

In the same way he predicts a gloomy future for future generations by supporting views and actions that will destroy our environment. Destructive wishful thinking is all he has going for him, sad, sad!

I believe that the one parent works and the other stays home to raise the children is over for the middle class.

You may be surprised of the accomplishments of your children! I was! The future has always been unknown, both in times of plenty and famine. Have a little hope, for Christ's Sake!

Last year, a Wall Street Journal survey found that 78% of Americans do not believe their children will be better off in the future, the least optimistic finding in the history of that poll, which goes back decades. Similarly, another Wall Street Journal survey found that only 36% of Americans believe the American Dream is still achievable. As bad as those poll results are, they are perhaps too optimistic, at least for the key battleground states that will decide the 2024 national election. My populist-right laborers' advocacy group, the League of American Workers, surveys these swing states on a rotating basis. Our poll last November in battleground Arizona discovered that only 18% of likely voters there think the American Dream is still attainable.

Thanks, Joe!
